If you want to celebrate local, Port Hope's Cultivate Festival is the event for you! It's harvest season, so the best of food, drink, art and culture come together in a three-day extravaganza!

Weekend of local food, flavours and live entertainment

In September, head to Memorial Park for tasty craft beer, wine, cheese, dips, burgers and bagels at the Cultivate Festival. Kids under 12 are free! There's more than food, with a great lineup of music in the bandshell, kids' crafting, graffiti artists, hen-keeping workshops and culinary demos. Port Hope is truly farm to table country!

Celebrate the harvest with growers, chefs and artists

Cultivate has hosted kids' entertainer Fred Penner and Ukrainian party punk band Lemon Bucket Orchestra. “We bring in world-class talent and then we weave those talents with locally-grown artists making it something that feels authentically Port Hope,” says festival director Jeff Bray.

The festival has also featured a Long Table dinner party, a butter tart taste-off and open marketplace along river banks. Come sample!
