Capitol Christmas in Port Hope
How big and beautiful can a Christmas tree really get? Each holiday season, the Capitol Theatre transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland filled with festive trees decorated by local businesses and community groups at the Festival of Lights and Trees. From late November through December, visitors can wander the historic theatre foyer, enjoy a warm drink or cookie from the refreshment stand, and enter for a chance to win a fully decorated tree to take home for Santa’s visit.

Capitol Christmas brings together dozens of beautifully decorated trees, twinkling lights, seasonal treats and holiday concerts to enjoy. The theatre is also famous for its annual Naughty and Nice Panto, a hilarious holiday production with both a family-friendly and adult version that’s perfect for festive nights out.
