The historic Capitol Theatre has its own holiday tradition
Over two decades ago, the tradition of Capitol Christmas and the Festival of Lights & Trees began. In 1997 the theatre volunteers started this small-town holiday tradition, raffling off a few trees from our main stage. Not only has Capitol Christmas grown to be one of the theatre’s most important annual fundraising events, but it has matured into one of the most cherished holiday traditions for the community.
